I wanted to just share some photos that my buddy and staff writer at The Times-Tribune Jim Lockwood took off the McDade Trail in Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in Dingman Twp. in Pike County. The photos are cool, but we didn’t know what the heck was going on so we did a little investigating.
I was struck by them because they look like topo maps.
They look cool but the reality is not quite as cool. As best we can tell, these are leaf miners.
