Scranton’s 6-foot-3 junior center scored 12 points in a loss to Scranton Prep, then had 16 points and 13 rebounds in a win over No. 7 Valley View, and a career-best 31 points with 15 rebounds in a victory over No. 10 Western Wayne.

Athletes you admire? Honestly, I don’t watch many pro sports. I just kind of base my game off myself, I like LeBron James. I do watch women’s college basketball.
Superstitions or rituals on game day? I usually have a Snickers bar and an orange before the game.
Three people you’d like to have dinner with. I know it’s more than three people, but my basketball teams from my freshman, sophomore and junior year. All of them together.
Who is the one person who has had the biggest influence on your athletic career and what have they done? Maybe Ciaira Loyd. She always put me in my place. It kind of came off as a little mean a little bit but she opened up my mind about the game. She was always a great leader and I always looked up to her. I always wanted to get my 1000th point like she did.
Are you close to 1,000? I think I need 130.
What is one physical improvement in your game? My shooting definitely is a lot better. And I kind of expanded my post moves a little bit.
One person you would like to play one-on-one against. Victoria Toomey. She’s a great player.
What’s the biggest thrill you’ve had in sports? Probably this. I was so excited to get this (Athlete of the Week). And getting my career high, and winning districts my freshman year.
Who’s one teammate guaranteed to make you laugh? Kiera Bennett. She’s on the jayvee team and she’s hilarious.
Toughest opponent you’ve played against in high school. Probably Victoria Toomey. She has that half-hook shot. It’s hard. Anyone who has that shot, it’s hard. If you reach, you’re going to get a foul for going across the body.
If you could be great at another sport, what would that be and why that sport? Volleyball. I’ve always been told to play volleyball because I’m tall and I block a lot of shots. But we don’t have volleyball.
As tall as you are, is it hard to find clothing? My pants, I have to get from American Eagle becauses they have the extra long length. And I get pants from Asos because they have a tall selection. It’s really hard to find pants that fit.
After high school, what’s next? I definitely want to play in college and I want to study criminal justice. I want to be a forensic psychologist.
