Yankees 20-year-old pitching prospect Deivi Garcia made his Triple-A debut Monday, tossing five innings in the RailRiders’ game against Columbus, the top team in the International League that came into the game with a 31-13 record on the road.

Garcia allowed one run in the first inning and two more in the third on a home run by Max Moroff. Columbus also had one double (by Ka’ai Tom in the second) and four singles. Garcia walked one and struck out six.
