Penn State announced today that its annual Pro Day workouts for seniors and juniors who have declared themselves eligible for the 2017 NFL Draft will be held on March 16.

It looks like 11 players will work out:

LB Brandon Bell
C/G Brian Gaia
WR Chris Godwin
SAF Malik Golden
C/G Wendy Laurent
RB Irvine Paye
DE Evan Schwan
DE Garrett Sickels
CB Jordan Smith
LB Nyeem Wartman-White
LS Tyler Yazujian

Now, understand this about Pro Days: Just because a players is on the list doesn’t mean he will do everything there is to do. Chris Godwin, for example, ran a 4.42 40 at the NFL Combine. It stands to reason he might not run that again at Pro Day, unless he’s convinced he can do significantly better.

But that said, it’s interesting Nyeem Wartman-White is on the list. The Valley View grad injured his knee and missed most of last season — and he really hasn’t played much since 2015 due to injuries — but he announced he wouldn’t apply for a medical redshirt and instead give the Draft a try. It will be fun to see what he can do, if much at all.
