Penn State has already added two prospects from Lackawanna College to its 2019 recruiting class. It’s apparently pushing to add a third.

Falcons punter Bradley King announced on his Twitter account that he received an offer to play for the Nittany Lions this fall. It’s likely a preferred walk-on spot.

King posted OK numbers with the Falcons over his two seasons in Scranton. Last season, he averaged 33.2 yards per boot on his 46 punts, but he had long of 60 yards. In all, just seven of his punts were returned. As a freshman, he averaged 33.7 yards per punt.

The lower averages are somewhat surprising to me, because I’ve seen King punt in practice. He looks like he has a really strong leg. Like Blake Gillikin, he’s a left-footed punter, and he definitely has a good leg. Gets solid hang time and can hit them for distance. He probably isn’t as consistent as he can be, but King should be a good project for special teams coach Phil Galiano.
