In today’s coverage of the Titanic tragedy in the pages of The Scranton Times, we see that two Roman Catholic priest from the Diocese of Scranton were aboard the Carpathia. The Rev. Henry Burke and the Rev. Daniel McCarthy were traveling to the Holy Lands when the Carpathia turned from passenger ship to recuse ship. The two helped by ministering to the spiritual needs of those rescued and the passengers of the Carpathia.
