Trump’s man at the FCC, attorney and former Verizon honcho Ajit Pai, is poised to roll back the Obama administration’s consumer-friendly “Net Neutrality” rules. Under the proposed framework, internet service providers (ISPs) will be allowed to throttle and auction off the fastest internet speeds to the highest bidders, essentially putting corporations in charge of who gets what and for how much on the World Wide Web.
