On Thursday, the sports department hosted the coaches and athletic directors for the teams who compete in the Lynett Memorial Basketball Tournament at Stirna’s Restaurant in North Scranton. Kudos go out to Kathy Gavin and crew at Stirna’s for a wonderful meal and hospitality.

As for the entertainment, staff writer Marty Myers was his usual jovial self in his attempt at humor and witty banter. Thankfully, Steve Harvey has nothing to worry about.

Thank you to all the coaches and administrators who came out and enjoyed a meal and some laughs along the way. Looking forward to another great tournament December 27th and 29th. Make sure you come out and see some great basketball.
