The PIAA playoffs enter the second round tonight with six games involving Lackawanna League teams.

    Old Forge Lady Devils: Has a 9-3 record in its last three PIAA playoff appearances.

 

  • Dunmore Lady Bucks: Have a record of 326-50 overall and 22-12 in the state playoffs in the last 13 seasons.

 

  • Scranton Prep Cavaliers: Has a record of 114-19 in the last five seasons, and coach Andrew Kettel is 191-89 in his career.

 

  • Valley View: Five of nine losses this season have come against Abington Heights (2), Scranton Prep (2) and Holy Cross (1) — all three are still alive in their respective state playoffs.

 

  • Abington Heights Comets: Is into the second round for the 13th time in program history which does not include starting in the quarterfinals in 1969.

 

  • Susquehanna Sabers: Won its first PIAA game since reaching the 1999 semifinals.
