Day 4 the stops were spaced out with a morning trip to John Henzes/Veterans Memorial Stadium and a visit with the Valley View Cougars, who captured the District 2 Class 4A championship last season.

One thing was clear, the Cougars are fired up for the 2018 season:

Valley View has several starters returning from the title team. Among those veterans is Mike Sebastianelli, who is another one of those legacy players for the program that has a rich championship tradition. His father, Rob, and twin brother, Ron, were members of the 1986 Big 11 championship team.

Then, we traveled to St. Anthony Memorial Park for a visit with Holy Cross. The Crusaders will be going back to the green helmets under second-year coach Dave Gatto. Had a chance to chat with coach and his son, Jake, who is a senior receiver and defensive back.
