Yes, I know it’s Sunday, but it’s also playoff season. That means Mike Ognosky doesn’t stop working. So, neither do I.

After crunching all the numbers late Friday night and double-checking those again late Saturday after the last of the regular-season battles were waged, all postseason games were finalized and scheduled by the District 2 Football Committee.

Let me begin by congratulating the three Lackawanna Football Conference champions.

Division I — Delaware Valley (10-0)

Division II — Scranton Prep (10-0)

Division III — Dunmore (10-0)

Hey, how about that. … The LFC coaches in the preseason said those would be the three champions.

All three are also No. 1 seeds in their respective playoffs. More on that later this week.

Let’s get down to the matter at hand.
