Folks, this has been a scramble.

The PIAA frantically tried to 1) stay ahead of the storm and 2) keep people informed. It isn’t easy. The group needed to stay focused and needed to work with dozens of venues, times adjustments, security, staffing, etc. all while people were picking at them throughout the day for information.

For me, once the games got postponed, it becomes more an effort in accuracy and patience. If you were working during the day Monday, and I assume most of you were, I too was tapping my sources for information. But, look, let’s be honest with ourselves, if you thought games or events were being played Tuesday or Wednesday, you would be naive.

So, here is what I learned through an email this afternoon:
