Good Saturday to everyone!

OK, as schools continue to hold graduation ceremonies, the scholastic sports season winds down for us here at The Times-Tribune. As you all know, I cover several sports in the spring and today we recognize another group of outstanding athletes with the release of the 2017 Lackawanna League Volleyball Coaches’ All-Star team.

It was a tremendous season in both leagues. Blue Ridge finished the regular season undefeated and won the league championship. Mountain View and Abington Heights both reached the District 2 Class 2A playoffs.

Here are the players who were chosen in a vote by the league coaches to the all-star team:

Members of the Lackawanna League Coaches’ Volleyball All-Star team include, from left, Susquehanna’s Bryce Baldwin, Blue Ridge’s Kyle Bayle, Blue Ridge’s Garrett Mansfield, Mountain View’s Keegan Mack, Blue Ridge’s Dominick Rogers, Western Wayne’s Matt Trygar and Abington Heights’ Eric Brickel.
